Is the ad spend included in your management fee?
No, ad spend and management are separate. The monthly fee on the packages page covers our work managing your campaigns. Ad spend goes directly from you to Google through your own Google Ads account. We never markup ad spend or take a percentage. This means you can audit every Rand at any time, and the account stays yours forever.
How much should I budget for ad spend?
It depends on your industry, location, and goals. Most Pretoria service businesses see results from R5,000-R15,000/month in ad spend. Competitive industries (legal, finance, medical) typically need R20,000+. We can give you a realistic estimate based on your keywords and target area before you commit. The good news: small budgets done well usually outperform large budgets done poorly.
How quickly will I see leads?
Search campaigns typically start producing leads within 7-14 days of launch. The first 30 days are about gathering data and finding what works. Real optimisation kicks in around month 2 once we have meaningful conversion data. By month 3, the account should be performing well and improving each week from there.
What if my campaigns aren't profitable yet?
Most accounts need at least 60-90 days before they're consistently profitable, and longer if competition is heavy. If after that period the campaigns aren't working despite our best efforts, we'll have an honest conversation. Sometimes Google Ads isn't the right channel for a particular business, or the conversion path needs work outside the ads (landing pages, sales process, pricing). We'll tell you straight, not keep charging fees for something that's not working.
Do I need a landing page for Google Ads?
Strongly recommended. Sending paid traffic to a generic homepage is one of the most common reasons campaigns fail. A focused landing page with one clear offer and one clear call to action will convert far better. We can recommend specific changes to existing pages, or build dedicated landing pages as a separate project.
Can I cancel any time?
After the first month, yes. We need a one-month commitment up front because the setup and learning phase takes that long. After that, it's month to month with 30 days notice. The Google Ads account stays in your name with full admin access, so you can take over yourself or move to another agency without any disruption.
Should I do Google Ads or SEO?
Both, ideally. Google Ads gives you instant traffic but costs money for every click. SEO is slower (3-6 months for results) but generates traffic at near-zero cost once you're ranking.
